What we Believe
We believe that as women
- through our faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God
- (Mark 16:15-16, Hebrews 11:6, John 20:31)
- the repenting of our sinful ways (Acts 17:30, Luke 13:1-5)
- confessing Jesus as the Son of God and our Lord - Romans 10:9-10, Matthew 10:32
- and having been baptized for the remission of sins - Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Galatians 3:27, Romans 6:1-6
We have become royalty and have been given the high privilege of serving God in a special way.
We further believe
- That in no way did Jesus deal with women in an inferior way. (Luke 8:2-3, Matt. 27:55-56).
- That women and men are equally valuable in the eyes of God. (Gal. 3:28)
- That Jesus made some distinction in the roles of men and women in His church. (1 Timothy 3)
- That God has ordained there are certain roles in the church which a woman cannot fill, and has given reasons why he made this distinction. (1 Timothy 3, 1 Timothy 2:11-14)
- By divine design, man is to be the “head” of woman—in society, in the church, and in the home (1 Cor. 11:3; Eph. 5:22-24).
- Woman was made as a help for man —not the reverse (Gen. 2:18,20).
As Christian women seeking holiness through servanthood, we make vital contributions in building up the church by continuing steadfastly in prayer (Acts 1:14), doing good works (Acts 9:36), practicing hospitality (Acts 12:12; 16:14; 1 Tim. 5:10), teaching the Word in accordance with divine authority (Acts 18:26; Tit. 2:3,4), being good wives (Prov. 31:10ff), rearing godly children (2 Tim. 1:5; 3:14,15).
