FALL RETREAT PICTURES

I came home really pumped up. It was so good to see everyone...and the singing was wonderful.

First, I want to praise God for bringing those particular women of faith together this last weekend.  It was a special time for me, and I feel that many if not all feel the same way.  If anyone was blessed more than I, they can shout for joy because that's pretty high!  I just had a feeling that was going to happen and sure enough it did.  I am so thankful that I met some sisters that I didn't know before.  I realize we are bound for eternity, but it's nice to know many before we get there.  I won't have to spend as much time introducing myself, so we can just get on with our praising and "sanging" forever.

The weekend has given me energy for the Lord. I am making special time in my day to pray. I have always prayed but not always taken time during the day except for in the car, at bedtime, during chores, etc. I am now getting up earlier to have time to get my day off to a great start.

The retreat was a real treat! (Pun intended). God blessed and encouraged me so much through it, and I believe I am already serving 
Him better because of last weekend.
